Hi, welcome to the site! I have to admit, this is sort of strange. I haven't really made much use of the Internet since I made a mock web page about a mitten factory for an IT class in college, but since my good friend Chief started his own, unbelievably good blog, I have been itching to take this step, so thanks for taking some time out to read - I hope you enjoy it.

Instead of focusing on politics; however, I am taking a dramatically different turn. (And you would get the politics reference if you clicked on the link above, so go ahead and do it before I punch you in the face.) This blog will chronicle single life in the city...indefinitely. At least until I meet someone normal. Or they reduce "flag pull" on cab fare to under $1.00. And with that criteria, I might be posting forever.

My personal life, which you'll learn more about, has always been...well, a bit dramatic. There always seems to be a lot going on, and there are always a lot of eggs in the basket, so to speak, but I think I am a pretty good represenation of the young, single female sample. And after creating theory after theory, and advising male friend after male friend, I think it might be easier to post this all in a blog and save everyone a little time. So here we are, shooting straight from the hip, no bullshit.

If you're still reading at this point, just want to remind you that there is a comment board listed after each post, so if you do read something that really resonates with you, I welcome -- and encourage -- comments.
