Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is the day before my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. It's my favorite, because I think I'm really good at it. I'm not that good at the whole pious praying thing, but I am very good at gluttony, shopping, sleeping, and rating how cute the football players are on tv.I am all packed and ready for my first Thanksgiving in Hotlanta. And let me tell you -- considering that I brought all of my summer clothes home two weeks ago, playing "Where's the Yank?" is going to be incredibly easy for Georgians this week, as I will be the only person within a 200-mile radius wearing a turtleneck sweater. As if I don't feel dorky enough already.
The good news is that I just found out that my friend MC will be in town as well, so I'll have a buddy to possibly hang out with this weekend. This is good. He is cool, and we have fun. That is, once I stop being nervous and the throw-up feeling goes away. I don't think I have ever been intimidated by any guy in my entire life, but I am sort of intimidated by him. He's got a lot going for him. I'm not quite used to that (well, with a couple of exceptions).
Seeing as I will be out of town for the next five days, I imagine that posting will probably be pretty light. So if I don't get the chance to say it before, Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels.
