Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is the day before my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. It's my favorite, because I think I'm really good at it. I'm not that good at the whole pious praying thing, but I am very good at gluttony, shopping, sleeping, and rating how cute the football players are on tv.

I am all packed and ready for my first Thanksgiving in Hotlanta. And let me tell you -- considering that I brought all of my summer clothes home two weeks ago, playing "Where's the Yank?" is going to be incredibly easy for Georgians this week, as I will be the only person within a 200-mile radius wearing a turtleneck sweater. As if I don't feel dorky enough already.

The good news is that I just found out that my friend MC will be in town as well, so I'll have a buddy to possibly hang out with this weekend. This is good. He is cool, and we have fun. That is, once I stop being nervous and the throw-up feeling goes away. I don't think I have ever been intimidated by any guy in my entire life, but I am sort of intimidated by him. He's got a lot going for him. I'm not quite used to that (well, with a couple of exceptions).

Seeing as I will be out of town for the next five days, I imagine that posting will probably be pretty light. So if I don't get the chance to say it before, Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels.
