Sometimes Slapping in Public is Merited

So I flew back after a weekend back home. As exhausted as I was at 7:00 am, with a flight and a full day of work ahead of me, I managed to bear witness to a ridiculous interaction.

A man and his wife were standing in front of me in the security line. The man went through the security "tunnel" without any trouble. The wife then walked through and was stopped by the TSA woman, who told her she had to take off her shoes. The woman, obviously tired and not paying close attention, looked completely confused for a moment...until her jackass husband yelled (and seriously YELLED), "Take off your DAMN shoes, you moron!"

If my future husband ever spoke to me that way, I think I would slap him in public.
