Hearticulture, Trademark Pending

Earlier this morning, while reading this post, I had a thought:

What if I opened up a business that send cards and flowers to people with sentiments that are unusually hard to express, but still need to be said?

There are so many things out there that are hard, but necessary, to say to people sometimes, and my idea is that if you sent them a bouquet of flowers along with the sentiment, they'll take it better. This way, it's more like you're re-planking a bridge as opposed to dousing it in gasoline and burning it down.

For example, how nice would it be if you hooked up with someone, they kept calling you, and instead of ignoring them, or yelling at them, or filing a restraining order, you simply sent them a bouquet of forget-me-nots with a card that says, "Just stop. And smell the flowers once in a while. But seriously, stop calling, I'm not interested."

Or what if one of your friends gets their hair cut and asks for your opinion, and you hate it and don't know what to say. You could call me up and have a Chia Pet sent with a note that says, "This is what you look like right now, but I still love you. Isn't this cute?" And really, your friend will have to laugh. Or he/she obviously is not really your friend.

Customer favorites might include the "You're Bad at Sex, But I Still Like You" bouquet for your significant other, the "Screw You, I'm Quitting My Job" bouquet for your boss (with complimentary Bic pen), and the "Enough With the Marriage Talk, I'm Focusing On My Career Right Now" bouquet for parents and assorted family members.

A couple of cash cow bouquets, a clever business name, a couple of business license filings, and I'm set for life.
