Garden State Out on DVD
Sorry if this is a little belated, but before I forget to tell you, my favorite movie of 2004 came out on DVD on December 28th. Even if you haven't seen it, just buy it on DVD. It's one of those rare masterpiece movies that, in the small way in which it is capable, will sort of change your life, or at least have you thinking for a good day or two. It has a little bit of everything - drama, comedy, and romance. Sorry, no guns, though. At least I don't remember any.
The soundtrack, as previously mentioned, is also phenomenal, and has a couple of bands on it that I have listened to since college that are only now receiving proper credit (Remy Zero, Thievery Corporation).
For more info, and fun reads, go to the Garden State blog. This is actually Zach Braff's blog, and he's so cool it's scary. Anyone who signs off with "nobody puts Baby in a corner" (we miss you, Jerry Orbach), and recommends Keane songs is automatically good in my book. ?

I was tempted to leave him a post with a marriage proposal, but figured that was too forward, so I think I'll just have to try and find him the next time I'm in LA (which will be...um, not for a really long time, probably.)

Well, I was just in New York, but Jersey is still up there on my list of places to hit, Flynn - if not to see you, then at least to enjoy a Taylor Ham & Cheese.
