Hey America, Eat Mor Chikin

Chick-fil-A...delicious.

As an extension to the theme of this week's posts, food, I am going to discuss the best fast food restaurant known to the American public today - Chick-fil-A.

I decided to devote an entire post to this chain this morning, when I drove by the "Smyle Atlanta, Yer Eatin Chikin" billboard on my way to work, and it occurred to me that this is the first place I have ever lived that actually has Chick-fil-A's all over the place (with the exception of Beachwood Mall's old food court). I have loved Chick-fil-A for as long as I can remember (even more so that the scattered, smothered, covered hashbrowns and other fare at Waffle House), and every time I visited the South, I always insisted on eating there, much to the chagrin of whoever (sister, friends, etc.) was hosting me.

For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of tasting this scrumptious Southern treat, Chick-fil-A is a fowl-based, fried, fatty, waffle-fry restaurant. And as I pleasantly discovered just the other night, the one right around the corner from my house has a "All You Can Eat Nuggets for $4.99" special on Tuesdays. So of course I took advantage of this tonight, and now my tummy is filled with chickeny goodness.

Perhaps the funnest (word?) part of Chick-fil-A is their great ads, which feature a cow spokesperson urging people to eat more chicken. And having eaten plenty of their chicken, I can confidently hypothesize (word?) that the world would be a better place if we all did just that.
