All Hail "The Office"
He is probably looking at Pam, but I'm going to pretend it's me instead.
So we're going to talk about "The Office" and how it's my new favorite show. At the urging of some friends at work, I finally hit the "series record" button on my DVR to catch this show. By the way, can we talk about how my recent acquisition of a DVR has changed my life entirely?! It is probably the best invention since the cassette single. No, maybe better.
Anyway, for anyone with an incredibly dry sense of humor, or anyone who works, really - this show is a must-see. Steve Carrell is hysterical, and the cast of supporting actors is the best blend I've seen since "Seinfeld".
I have developed a major crush on the floppy-haired, adorably goofy John Krasinski (pictured above). I went through a "loving-boys-with-floppy-hair" phase in 1999, when I developed a hopeless crush on a junior in my microbiology class named CF, who I mercilessly pursued without any success. But I digress. When I stalked John Krasinski, aka my CF doppelganger, via IMDB, I found out that he has a role in "Jarhead". So who wants to go see "Jarhead" tomorrow?
