Merry Christmas To All

I am headed to the very lovely, very geriatric Boca Raton, Florida tomorrow morning for a much-needed vacation over this Christmas weekend. I can't wait - naps at 1 pm, dinners at 4:30 pm, and bed by 9 pm at the latest - if I'm feeling wild. Not to mention all the little obnoxious rugrat grandchildren at the pool. I'll be sunbathing topless on the deck off to the side of the pool area, thank you very much.

Although, like most of my people, I will spend Christmas eating Chinese and seeing "Munich", I would like to take this long weekend as an opportunity to recharge my batteries, so to speak, without distraction or obligation. And for those of you who can't read between the lines, that means no posts.

I'll be back on Monday, with movie reviews for real people, book reviews for real people, and perhaps an interesting anecdote...or two.

To all of those celebrating the Christmas holiday (and my fellow tribe members who will be eating Chinese and seeing "Munich", for that matter) - happy holidays, God Bless, and safe travels.
