Happy Anniversary to Me
So today is my 1 year anniversary at work. I like my job, but I'm not going to lie - I feel like it's been 5 years. Shouldn't I get a little plaque or something? Maybe a "Good Attendance" award? It could say something like, "Congratulations for not showing up to work drunk for the past 365 days!" Or maybe like in school, I would win the "Good Penmanship". My handwriting is immaculate!So far, my parents have called to wish me a happy anniversary and they've threatened to send flowers (threat was thwarted when I threatened to never speak to them again if they did).
How have I been celebrating this anniversary thus far, you might ask? Well, it started when I slept through my alarm and got to work at 9:55 am (first time that has EVER happened, I swear), and then by having a new one ripped over a mistake I didn't make on an account that wasn't mine. Congratulations to me!
